This is not a suggestion, nor a request: Alright... I think the music in M2 would fit better in a toys 'r us commercial or in a far out family movie... It sounds like some kid hammering on a xylophone! You should implent real music. (just don't tell the almighty LAW) Music like Pantera, MetallicA, System of a Down or Disturbed... ...Alright now I'm just naming all the stuff I listen to while playing You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

I agree, I would prefer real music, though i am not positive it will fit the theme of the game. I plan on making a Grand theft auto-like mod what will have radio stations, and most of them will have rock stations, unlike Grand theft auto that is currently in stores, features mostly rap and hip hop (eww!)

You can! Its called press F5 I am strongly against using "real" music (as you call it) in any game, unless its like GTA where you acutally change the radio station. IMO, it makes a game look alot less professional, not to mention those who are offended/strongly apposed to certain types of music/groups... Take NSFS: Underground. WAY to much RAP/bad rock from famous rappers and bands. Luckily, the engine sounds drowned out the music while actually driving. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Ah yes thats what I ment There are plenty of action-oriented music titles in M2, its just the first level's song (like it was in M1) has always been a more "non-action" tune than anything. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

that savior desire one? Man that one took me forever to get out of my head. Only Led Zeppelin, Metallica, or System of a Down could flush it out and replace it with something better.

I'd say the music was ok... Having no lyrics is always a plus. I kind of liked the meteor1 music a bit better. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

I think that the M2 music was the best, but the Wavelenghts was a good tune too! You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

I liked m1's music too, I'm not a fan of Minomus' music, it doesnt catch my interest like Simon's does.

I have started looking from different resources. Like, either the menutune or the credits tune is not Simon's or Minomus' tune, they was found using google. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Bottom line, I don't like any of the music, and I think the whole game is too silly... Plus the creator should be decapitated for what he has done to humanity... EDIT: Music - Bad M2 - Not so bad after all... You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Meh, your just one of those rebel types This game has perfect video game music, about ATLEAST 3/4's of all video game music is Electronica/Techno, and 1/5th have Orchistra, and only about like 1/8th of vid games made actually use rock or rap as a main music title. Thanks, I will pass your comments/suggestion onto Simon, I am sure he will be delighted. I hand picked the music myself, obviously I liked it but thats not under debate. Well anyway if you don't like it just hit F5, put on your leather studded bands and load in your favorite turbo death metal (or just use the stop button). Well anyway its each to their own, just be thankful that there is actually an option to stop/change the music lol. Many games don't have these features, especially with support for MP3s. As a drastic last resort you can pop into the Map List Editor and edit all of the music names to point to your own sound collection. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

I would also need a Hardcore/Trance tune, like micronos remix, can't find 1! And the module archive is full of used hardcores. PLEASE!!! If yes, then in module format (mod,xm,s3m,it maybe?), thanks. Maybe M2 should do what doom does, load in your favorite CD, and it replaces all the music (temporarily, until the CD is removed) with each individual track from the CD. That would be pretty cool.
