Instead of having a single sound effect, why not loop the effect for the duration of the keypress? This way, horns would be more realistic and sirens would sound better.

Yeah id like that. I think you could do that by editing the sound to a loop sound, but youd have to keep tapping the button. but at least it would sound... kinda good.
