I noticed you had to type script commands for ending the game, displaying a message, etc.
I think maybe you should put these commands in a menu instead of having to get to Help. Is it that simple to put this in?

That would be great! I wouldn't have to make all those sectors then.

Yes the sector palette is going to help loads but it may not make v1.0.

In the mean time there is always the right click on a sector and select "Set as Default Sector" or "Copy Sector".

-Large Square
-Med Square
-Small Square

-Large Circle
-Med Circle
-Small Circle

-Large Trinangle
-Med Triangle
-Small Triangle

Etc.

Ooh that'd be awesome!

Maybe we could save custom sectors so we didn't have create new ones for different maps...

Oh and James what do you think of the drop-down menu for scripting?

He did not know about "Set as Default Sector" lol. This feature makes the next sector that you draw have all of the same properties as the "default".

The sector palette thing (this may come later) will store a list of sectors that you define, this includes all of the sector's properties and the shape/size.

I like the script code generator thing but its far too much coding to take on. Perhaps someone could code up something to pump out code to a text file (straight C no C++ pls) and I could integrate it.

Ha, I remember when I didn't know what "copy/paste sector" did. Well, I had an idea about what it was SUPPOSED to do, but since it pastes the sector in the exact same space as the previous sector (unless you move the screen), for the longest time I thought it was unimplemented.

Also, can the sector pallette NOT save size/shape? Or have it as an option? I use a lot of sectors that share the same properties but I have to redraw them each time because they are differently shaped.

And will there be the rectangle sector drawing option as well? I'm kinda looking forward to that :-)
