You mean like having a cutscene, I already have a post for that in the suggestions category. But what would be nice is if you can make a cut scene in meteor, like record the movement of a character in a level.

I think theres a program called FRAPS that records movies for games and allows it so you can do stuff wiff em'. It might only be compatible with this specific game though...

What exactly are you asking? Are you askng for a script to be added to the game to play cutscenes (it already does that)????

It does? What i mean is that a script command that stops the current game actions (pretty much pausing the game) and starts a cinimatic strait in the game. Can you do this already?

Fraps does not work with Meteor (its for 3D/harware games only).

I would love to see decent freebie screen recorder that does with Meteor.

Assain: No I don't think you could do that.

JB: There IS a program out there that kind'a does that..., I just can't remember where to get it or what it was called.... Try searching on Download.com or Sourceforge.net....

what I would like to see, is a longer intro that doesnt use more KB than the game itself! maybe we should use a different type of file other than GIF.

Yes, becuase when using gifs, you need to have a sound file to go with the gifs. If its just a movie file, then the sound a motion picture is all in one (smaller sizes...?). Also, its pretty simple to make a movie file with the masses of programs out there that make movie files...

Heres an idea for your website a www.meteormods.com.... hosting other downloads like free paint editors for making sprites, ect...

Might I suggest support for MPEG4s or other such compressed video formats? That would probably be much much much better than GIFs....
