I think that would be more cool and realistic, if enemies could not shoot all their weapons at the same time.
Could you make it so you could have up to five different weapon selection states, so you could have units fire (a) different weapon(s) in a sequence?
example:
trooper 1 state: 1, time: 5 seconds, Weapon: Rocket launcher
Trooper 1 State: 2, time: 2 seconds, Weapon: (none)
State: 3, time: 10 " , " : minigun
State: 4, time: 2 seconds, " : (none)

this would be cool

actually that sounds pretty good. No more tanks firing machineguns and shells at the same time.

Well i dont think that should be the case for ALL ene, like infintry shouldnt be able to do that, but a mech would. Their could be an option in the race editor that could let you choose weather or not it shoots more than one weapon at a time.

Yes I have already thought about this but it wont make the beta.

The basic rule could be..

- If its a vehicle then fire all weapons at once.
- Otherwise randomly switch weapons.
