This was said in M1 to be too fiddly, but will it be supported in M2?

Hehe he means terrain sectors (as in funny shaped tiles if you like) like acid and lava etc.

The short answer is yes it will and it will also be fully definable on a per sector basis. The long answer is that it may not be in the first Alpha.

Can you choose how much a sector hurts and how fast it hurts? or will it be automatically set to acid and lava?

You can set the amount it hurts in the map sector properties, the animation and texture details are set seperately.

I am not sure if you will be able to set the time between hurts. It could likely be fixed, not sure.

yah i meant that since i know in quake 1 slime hurt about 1 a second and lava hurt like 5 times and it kinda seemed realistic to me.
