It would be nice if you could have certain weapons, like smoke gernades, that when thrown would shield you from the enemys view, or make the enemy miss when it tries to fire on you.

Maybe not smoke grenades though, I never liked them. How about flashbangs? Those are sweet and theyre easier to affect you. i.e. Throw a flash bang and hide behind a wall. Otherwise your screen will go completely white for a short period of time like in counterstrike.

There should be a seperate button for throwing grenades rather than selecting the weapons grenade. I noticed that when I was testing out my mod that supports frag grenades. Its hard to use the mousewheel to flip through all your weapons to find that frickin' grenade when you need it. (While looking in your pocket to see if you can find that grenade packed with 7 other weapons, your already shot and dead.)

Maybe in M2 there could be an grenade timer in the weapon editor, so when you throw a grenade it will explode after 7 seconds.

yah but i noticed that projectiles that have a grenade bounce effect explode after it reaches its range, even if it never touched anything.

How would the falshbang gernades affect the AI units, would they not be able to shoot for a certain time, would they be paralyazed?

hmm a good question. Maybe it could just make them shoot randomly in any place besides the direction your in i geuss. :p

Hehe, well almst every good action game has a part where you have to sneak around without gettin caught. Although they are challenging and often require skill, it at least makes the game last a bit longer (Even if i do hate those types of missions...)
