Will it be possible to set the player's speed? and when he enters a car/tank will the speed be changed (if desired)?

The player moves at whatever speed that object is set to move at by default. As you get in a vehicle your speed will change accordingly (as well as your control).

There are other factors too but you should it all quite flexable.

Umm i noticed how the control type for a vehicle in M1 is terrible, or at least the way i see it. Will the vehicles have a different control type like they move like the infantry player character, except they slow down more rather than going to an almost complete stop and its turning is wider?

Well, I like the vehicle control, all except the turning, it is so slow! I have some maps with a tank or a car with a vehicle control and I usually bump into a bunker or a radar dish. Can you, James, fix this?

papercut just edit the objectclasses and set the downrate bigger until you like how fast the car slows down.

But be careful, too fast turning might be too "slippery".
