-There doesn't appear to be any way to edit the icons next to Single Player Game, Multiplayer Game, Options, and editors, and other stuff. If there is, let me know.

-You shouldnt have to be questioned "Are you sure?" for every single vertex you delete. This goes for sectors as well.

-However, You SHOULD have to be questioned when you reload game data, because I always manage to click this by mistake when I want to quit.

-You should be able to highlight multiple vertices at a time (which I know you can already do), and be able to delete them all at once, rather than each one individually.

-This goes for sectors as well.

-Most of the Hotkeys in the editors dont work. Some do, but most dont.

These things bug me quite a bit.

I sure would like the reload to be automatic and only reoading the changed stuff.

I mentioned about the abundance of "are you sure" nagging boxes before...I believe it's on the to-do list. I think James is cooking up some good stuff in the next version :)

I really mean the font of the main menu and the console XD

Maybe also the font of the unit info (mouse hover thing)?

I believe the whole game run on one font. Verdana I believe it is. So all that console and unit info stuff would probably all run under 1 font

Yes, verdana that is. It is also the font of this forum.
I said only ''the font'' because i knew the game was running on only one font. I mean that could it be altered?

Yes some of those messages could really be avoided.

You can edit the font, it is stored in an Allegro datafile (base\system\fonts\fonts.dat) so you will need the "Allegro Grabber" utility to open it. In order to actually make the font file entry you need to import a PCX. In turn you make the PCX file using TTF2PCX.

So Google for.
Allegro Grabber
TTF2PCX

As for the menu icons they are stored in jgui.dat which is not in the base folder so therefore these are not really moddable. Sorry.

Fonts CAN be modified? Right now? *delighted*

Oh god, gotta google it for now ;)

[James Bunting: ''As for the menu icons they are stored in jgui.dat which is not in the base folder so therefore these are not really moddable. Sorry.'']

Well I was able to open it with grabber and saw all those icons. Just if they would be in the base folder and it would be just perfect (perhaps the same for M1 as well?). But I quess I might export those icons and use them in the toolbars. And it was surprising to see some icons that weren't in the game actually :S

Also I've encountered some problems with the Courier font, it looks like grabber doesn't accept it.

EDIT 2: Good I was able to transform Segoe UI with FontED (another program at allegro depot, i have used it before as well). And courier as well but it came italics :p

Hmm... speaking of counterstrike... Well.. Maybe I'll have to tell you guys later. =D

This thread is going off topic but I dont care. Does anyone have any stories to share about playing online games like countestrike, unreal tournament, world of warcraft, soldat, other games etc. where they freaked out on their computer? Normally I'm really calm when I'm playing online games. Maybe if I'm really getting destroyed I'll clench my fists and say oh my f---ing god out loud. I never scream or pound on my keyboard though.

Oh yeah mike, you may want to hold on to this... or plead that i remove it ASAP, your choice hahaha.

Yes, conterstrike. hee hee hee hee... =P

I personally haven't played Soldat online, just with the bots. I have started taking them out by acting like a sopwith (flying and bombing targets) or is it just me cheater who has set the bots as ''stupid'' =P
Now on I am more land based tho =P

lol he's insane. Oh and erik, it's 'swearing' instead of 'cursing'.

Oops I didn't read papercut's post fully =P I haven't ever 'freaked out' (at least so badly as that guy). Online games I don't know as I haven't got almost any experience of online games =P Though probably not =P

Being an experienced soldat player, I some times play with my bots on the 'poor' skill level. And I do most of my killing flying over them. It's not cheap haha.

cursing and swearing have the same definition.

I hear in the video that he says some pretty naughty things to the other guy. Is it just me or did the guy on the left that hes screaming seem to take his crazy temper really easily? Like he doesnt seem to argue back, or even get shocked that his buddy almost threw the monitor into the air haha. His loud and frustrated buddy even manages to spill coffee on the guys hand and he still cooperates with him. He just ignores it and goes back to playing counterstrike.

Lately when i've been playing online games, I still have fun even when I or my team loses. It's really just the thrill of playing the game, not actually being the best. Only times I get frustrated are when I am embarrassed at how I'm doing. Like if I'm playing unusually badly haha.

I only get upset if i feel that my oponent is either cheating or way to good. Cheating as in spawn camping. I define way to good as not even letting me get off a missed shot D:
