"Accidentally", I blew up a Chinook, so I decided to restart. The problem was, when I hit restart, the game crashed and put me back to my desktop.

P.S.

Sweet job on M2 putting in the ability to drive and fly, man! :D

EDIT: I'm also having trouble with the editor, but I'll ask about that later.

EDIT2: My computer must not like M2. Can't load the M2 Editor Scripts map(says it's too advanced), and if I get past the first level(When you go into the Hercules) it crashes :(.

Edit 2's P.S.

My PC is an XP(If you need to know)

The "too advanced" error suggests that you are running an older version. Be sure that you are running v1.42 (its displayed up top on the blue bar while loading and on the bottom right of the menu screen). If you are running v1.4 or above there is a small patch on the M2 download page at www.jbgames.com .

If you still have problems with the latest version then try running meteor2_nofblend.exe, it will make the graphics look pants (no light sourcing) but it will be interesting to know if it solves the problem (just a hunch).
