THis problem is quite anoying. When I create two sectors and place them side by side, if I seperate the sectors a again the vertex's form the other sector seemingly duplicate themselves on the other sector. So if I create a box and another box, place them so that the first box's upper right vertex is on the line of the second boxes left hand side, remove the boxes, the second box now has another vertex where the first box's upper right hand vertex was.

No, it's like the vertexes duplicate themsevles on the other box when you sperate them.

The next release features a vertex optimiser which will remove any unused verts from your maps. You may need to run it manually (under Advanced Map Tools).
