Okay, first when I was editing my mod with music in the background the game started to get really slow and glitchy. I reloaded the game and music and at the beginning it worked fine but when the music started to pick up tempo and number of chanells it become glitchy again. When I turned off the music though the game stopped being glitchy and slow. I have also noticed this when I play the game, it slows down with the music running in the background. SO what's worng, I never had this problem with the old meteor before?

I noticed that also. With a 400Mhz celeron, the computer slowed down with wide music tracks, so i couldn't play any mod/xm/it/s3m with more than 5 channels.

Well that still doesn't explain the problem, I have a 850Mhz PII processor and it still plays slow. I wonder if it uses hardware exaleration instead of just using the sound card's memory.

well, How many song tracks are you trying to play? 8 or more may really slow the game down.

Huh? What do you mean. You can only play one song track at a time, or do you mean how many channels are playing when the song is playing?
