I don't know if this is the original intended behaviour, but clicking an object in the menu and holding the button will keep the mouse stuck on that menu item until the mouse button is released. This is annoying, for one, and also if you accidentally click on another menu, you will have no choice but to enter that menu because you would be unable to move the mouse (with your finger still on the mouse button) over to a blank part of the screen (to avoid having to click the wrong menu item) to "cancel" your involuntary or unintended click.
