Ive noticed that the lights in the editor cant have the angle of direction changed. Hope you fix this in the next version!

This is by design, its bascially down to memory requirements for the following reasons.

1) Lights have be to pre-rotated into image buffers as the high speed transparency code does not support rotation (thats why its high speed).

2) Map lights are one light object per light where as lights on sprites use the same light many times.

If map lights rotated then each map light could use a sillu amount of memory.

I ment that when you click the angle button on the properties of the light, it doesnt change the angle.
