in the beta, is it a disabled thing, or is there something wrong with the waypoint icon in the map editor (or is it just me who cant figure out to use it)?

It wasnt included in the beta, it will be on the "To do list" or "Pretty much there" list

Hopefully Swallow Lake will feature a train which goes all over the level (you can't actually ride on it).

What about making a script that when goign over the trigger, it puts YOU on a way point and you go automated until end of way point line. This would be good for "cinimatic" scenes in-game.
