Viewing Thread: installing M2 beta 1.22

05 July 2006 08:53 (UK time) when i DLed M2 beta 1.22, installed it, i clicked its icon and i saw the regular startup console, except that the blue bar at the top of console did not say v1.22, it still stayed at 1.21, and in game i can't drag the selection box around units i want to select. Did i install 1.22 correctly? or is it just a bug? if i didn't install it correctly, how do you install it then? You need to login to create posts in this thread.

05 July 2006 22:49 (UK time) The title bar should say.... Meteor 2 v1.22 (beta 1) If it still says 1.1 then you did not install the patch correctly. The patch includes a new meteor2.exe that overwrites the older one plus some supporting files that go in the base folder. Be sure to extract the files to your Meteor 2 folder (c:\games\meteor2 by default). James You need to login to create posts in this thread.
