One thing more they could be in mp3 format because of smaller size. My email can't take too big attachments. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

How do you create music for meteor? I use a music program ( Music maker ) to make some songs, but it can only be used to soundfx so if any of you know an page where i can download a music converter it would be great. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Try ModPlug Tracker, I think you can convert .WAV files to .MOD with it. (Or maybe its the other way around?)

I have Mod PlugTracker, its a great program, it can do alot too, like converting MOD files into wavs, Mp3s, exc... and you can choose the quality of it too when converting. Im not sure about turning music or sound in MOD files, but im pretty sure you can. You can also make music with it too and i gess sound. (even though i dont know how to make either with it yet!) Or you could just make sounds like mantis did for the coredestruction. Did he also make jetbomb_explode? Edited: 10 August 2005 13:26 You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

all you need is a Mic, and MS Sound recorder, there are a few other programs you can record with too, like Audacity.

Yes its amazing what sounds you can make at home without using your mouth, here are some cool (and not so cool) ideas. Fire = screw up plastic bag Horse = half coconut shell (obviously) Tank = Some sqeeky old bicycle Big explosion = turbo curry fart Walking on grass = scratching facial stubble (pick your volenteer carefully, she may not be impressed) Wind = Move your mouse around (or turbo curry) Scream sound = Shut your thumb in the car door Door sound = Turn hoover on/off and speed it up Weapon sounds = bang various objects (cups and stuff) on the desk but don't use that flatpack crap Reload weapon = Open and close a filing cabinet Well I hope these hilarious ideas help someone lol. "Or you could just make sounds like mantis did for the coredestruction. Did he also make jetbomb_explode?" ¿!!!? How did you know that I made those sounds? Were they really corney, and you picked them out, or did they not sound like James great sounds? I also made all the nice sounds for my afgan mod. I used a cap gun for the AK-47 sound, Bubble rap for another gun, and for the explosions, I dropped a tub full of lego bricks by my microphone. =D You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Or you can mix sounds together. Thats often what i find myself doing. To get a grenade to make that whistling sound as soon as it explodes, simply mix a bullet contact sound, or a silened pistol sound inside. You can make explosion sounds out of lowering the speed of gunshots. (mainly loud sniper rifle shots.) You can make reloads by searching online for things like suitcase latch, cabinets, phone hangup, and maybe some other things
