Awesome game, man!
If only I could get it to work correctly on my computer...

I can't withstand the lagging music on my comp, so I usually shut it off when I play, but it get's pretty dull to play without music.
I think it worked before, but I don't know if it's my computer's fault or if something happened when I upgraded to a new version.
And normal SFX works fine.

What are the specs of your computer? It might be too slow...

It's 1.0 Ghz.
Warcraft 3, Halflife, Serious Sam 2, Broodwar and a lot of other games work fine on it, but it's having trouble with the music in Meteor. The game itself works, but the music lags.

Nilo is quite right, about 50% of tested sound cards produce slurry music (sound fx should be unaffected). It is not a performance thing, its just some kind of bug in the music code. Sound cards with loads of channels tend to be ok but that should not matter either.

Here is some more info for you...

I have a Sound Blaster Live 5.1 sound card and am running Windows XP. After a clean install (routine) the music was "slury" as described. I then downloaded the latest drivers for my sound card (March 2003 in this case) and that fixed the problem fine.

Therefore it is certainly worth downloading the latest drivers for your sound card as the default XP drivers may not work.

James.

For some reason when i go into the game it brings up an error saying failed to load music. Then when i play the game its not as fun as it used to be without the music :-(. Do you think you can e-mail me the music for the game or something so i can just put it in the files?
